Button hack: Illuminated Buttons with RGB Leds and Cover

Here're some pics about my button hacks. I used

Seimitsu PS-14-GN-CP

buttons with transparent caps. Due to the transparent caps it's possible to build in Leds. I earlier blog entries I've showed a solution with 5mm leds. Of course it's a good idea to use RGB led to mix up arbitrary colors. Unfortunately the 5mm led are not good in muxing up colors. So I've taken the same 0605 SMD RGB leds like in my LS-32 (Seimitsu) ball mod.



Finally I've decided a cover art for the panel:



The cover will be build on the cap, the led under the cap.
