Mister First Test Session with CRT 15 Khz RGB ArcadeForge UMSA

Hey, I just made a test session with the mister project. I connected an IO Board to the DE10 Nano FPGA Board, loaded the sd card with the mister software and connected a CRT with the awesome UMSA PCB.

It was just plug and play, no configs was edited.

I recommend to put the SLG3000 between VGA Switcher and Display VGA Input :D

Umsa meets SLG3000 ... okay almost.

I don't know please help me. Sometimes SLG SCART is used for descaling 480i to somewhat what yould look like 240p almost. So in this setup between UMSA and Display SCART Input a SLG SCART could be used.

UMSA Enclosure work finished

Happy Easter days,

just finished the work on the UMSA enclosure. I tried to keep my PCBs at a standard size, so I can reuse my prior work. But here it is:

Hooked up this unit on my pc with an old telly. On PC is soft15khz and qucikres installed

I was surprised myself : Just PnP ;)

UMSA first results...

Just a little heads up.

The UMSA was bugfixed with help of SailorSat (she invents the great soft15Khz) and ApfelAnni.

After some minor wirefixed we get a crisp picture. Hopefully UMSA will go next week public :)

UMSA - Ultimate Scart Adapter

UMSA

UMSA helps you to connet your PC to a normal CRT via SCART. Imagine you want to install a MAME machine with reel arcade look and feel and decide to install a normal CRT with SCART interface. Then this is your solution. Install soft15Khz or something similar on your PC and use UMSA to connect the PC VGA interface to the SCART interface.

Simply, this is VGA 15Khz to SCART converter.
