Hey out there,
take a look at Sebastians Custom Stick with light up buttons. The stick has an own (!!) wireless controller and a led controller. The wireless controller sends the inputs to receiver connected to playstation3. The USB firmware was based loosly on Dual Strike firmware (correct me, Sebastian, if I`m mistaken).
The led controller dims the button lights on press.
Additional feature is the programmable light show. Press start and 3K or 3P to make the light cycle around. Press some keys and the lights are cycling vice versa each other.
