UMSA SCART Adapter: Connecting a 15 kHz RGBHV Source to a CRT TV

A CRT television with an RGB SCART input can be useful in a retro gaming setup, but the source and TV must use compatible signal formats. UMSA is made for a suitable 15 kHz RGBHV source feeding an RGB SCART display.

Use case

Use it when a compatible arcade or video source provides RGBHV and the display expects RGB with composite sync over SCART. The adapter also provides separate sync outputs for compatible signal chains.

Why it stands out

It brings the sync conversion and SCART connection together on one small interface, helping bridge two formats in a carefully matched setup.

Before you choose

Confirm the source signal, 15 kHz timing, SCART input mode and 5 V supply requirements on the product page; UMSA is not a scaler.

See the UMSA Ultimate SCART Adapter product page for current specifications, variants and availability.
